The next adventure in the saga of The Division begins here…
Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland is a free-to-play game set in The Division universe, currently in development at Ubisioft’s Red Storm studio.
In this multiplayer survival-action shooter set in a fictional rural community in Middle America, you play as a trained Division agent, answering the distress call to uncover the ever-evolving mysteries of a rural community in mid-crisis.
Heartland is a standalone game that doesn’t require previous experience with the series but will provide an all new perspective on the universe in a new setting. The game will be made available on PC, consoles, and cloud. Those interested in participating in its early test phases can sign up here.
AUTHOR’S NOTES
As well as being a long-time reader of the Tom Clancy novels, I’ve also been a dedicated player of the video games created under the author’s name. In 2017 I worked on Fallen Ghosts for the Ghost Recon Wildlands open-world shooter game, and having expended a lot of hours on the first iteration of The Division, I was excited to be involved writing for the sequel The Division 2 in 2019.
My work on Heartland is just a small part of this game – I wrote scripts for some of the Vultures, a non-player character faction you’ll encounter in the town of Silver Creek – but I’m pleased to have had this great opportunity to work with the dozens of talented creatives at Red Storm Entertainment.
