AUTHOR’S NOTES
I worked as a member of the core writing team on Deus Ex: Human Revolution from 2008 until the game’s launch in 2011, developing the main narrative path and writing backstory and lore elements for much of the Deus Ex gameworld. I also worked on the Missing Link downloadable content, and a number of other Deus Ex projects, including The Fall, the novellas Fallen Angel and Hard Line (both available for free download on this site), the original novels Icarus Effect and Black Light, and Mankind Divided, the 2016 sequel to Human Revolution.
The Fall was inspired by and contains scenes and characters from the Icarus Effect novel. Developers N-Fusion planned to release a second mobile game featuring the characters of Saxon and Kelso, but the project never went ahead.
