Fractured Space is an award winning free-to-play space combat game for the PC.
In Fractured Space, players control a gigantic capital ship to seize mines and bases for resources and buffs. Play solo, in co-operative PvE (players versus environment) or 5-versus-5 PvP (player versus player) modes. The intensity of a shooter combines with tactical decision making as you battle to capture the enemy’s base!
AUTHOR’S NOTES
I worked with Edge Case Games on Fractured Space during 2016, during an extended development period for the game; the plan was to expand the title through ongoing episodic content drops and build out the background lore for the “universe”. I wrote historical documents, backstory and lore for the Fractured Space gameworld, but in late 2018 work on the game halted and the expanded lore never made it beyond the development stage.
